Company profilePurpose of the Role:
The Head of Operations will be responsible for leading and managing the integrated facility management and food services operations across multiple sites. This includes strategic planning, operational excellence, business development, client engagement, and team leadership, ensuring delivery of best-in-class workplace experiences. The role is pivotal in driving operational efficiency, sustainability, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Delivery
Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business goals across IFM and food service verticals.
Drive end-to-end P&L accountability, financial planning, and cost optimization.
Ensure seamless integration and synergy between hard (engineering/technical) and soft (housekeeping, food services) facility management services.
Client Management & Growth
Cultivate long-term client relationships with enterprise and strategic accounts.
Lead business development efforts including client acquisition, contract mobilization, and retention.
Customize service offerings based on client needs and market dynamics.
Operational Excellence & Process Efficiency
Set, monitor, and enhance KPIs for service delivery, SLAs, and compliance across all sites.
Leverage technology and automation for operations monitoring and quality assurance.
Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food safety, hygiene, and facilities upkeep.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Build, coach, and lead a high-performing operations team across regions.
Ensure succession planning, skill development, and retention strategies.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and employee engagement.
Sustainability & Compliance
Oversee sustainability initiatives, including carbon footprint reduction and energy management.
Ensure adherence to statutory, health & safety, and ESG compliance across operations.
Champion sustainable food practices and environmental stewardship.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and multi-site operations management.
Expertise in food & beverage, catering operations, and facility services.
Proven track record in P&L management and cost control.
Strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and business acumen.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
Technical understanding of MEP systems and hard services is a plus.
Knowledge of quality systems like ISO, HACCP, and other compliance norms.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
15+ years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in facility management and/or food services.
Degree in Hotel Management, Engineering, or Business Administration; certifications in Facility Management, Energy Management, or HSE preferred.
Strategic leader with operational depth, client-focused, agile in dynamic environments, and passionate about service excellence.
