Job Description:
Technical will support the Facility Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the facility, ensuring that the building, systems, and equipment are functioning efficiently and effectively. This role will primarily focus on the technical aspects of facility management, including HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and safety equipment, as well as coordinating with contractors and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
-Health & Safety:
Ensure that facility systems meet health and safety standards, including proper functioning of fire alarms, sprinklers, and emergency lighting.
Collaborate with the Facility Manager to implement emergency preparedness plans and conduct drills.
-Documentation & Reporting:
Communicate clearly and effectively in written reports / emails, providing concise updates and recommendations.
Utilize MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to create and manage reports, schedules, and presentations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs.
Ensure accurate documentation of all facility activities, projects, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Maintain records of repairs, maintenance logs, and facility-related documents.
Generate detailed reports on facility performance, issues, and resolution status for the Facility Manager.
-Technical Support for Project:
Provide technical support for facility systems, addressing issues and troubleshooting problems.
Assist in the installation, commissioning, and upgrading of technical systems within the facility.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes, including conducting safety audits.
